About Strandery

Dear reader,

If you’ve landed here, there’s a good chance a wedding is coming and the beauty side of it feels heavier than it should. I understand that completely, and I want Strandery to take some of the weight off. My name is Jenna Blake, and I built this as a calm place to plan how you’ll look and feel on the day.

I write about bridal hair and makeup the way I’d talk it through with you at a trial: what suits your features, your dress, and your venue; what actually survives twelve hours and a few happy tears; and what to ask for so nothing catches you off guard. Whatever your hair texture or skin tone, you’re built into that conversation from the very first line, not remembered at the end of it.

Mostly, I want you to feel steady and like yourself when the day comes, not like a stranger in someone else’s idea of pretty.
